HPPSC Constable Recruitment 2024: The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has extended the last date for submission of application for1088 Constable Posts till November 12, 2024. Earlier HPPSC had released notification for 1088 constable posts on its officail website.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts through the official website on or beore November 12, 2024.
Under the selection process, applying candidates will have to undergo the various round including Physical Mearasurement Test (PMT)/Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Written test as mentioned in the detailed advertisement.
Out of 1088 Constable posts, 708 posts are to be filled Constable (Male) for specialized duties in the Pay Band Level-3 (Rs. 20200 - 64000) in HP Police Department under Himachal Pradesh Police Department (Recruitment of Constables) Rules,2024.
380 posts are available for Constable (Female) for specialized duties under Himachal Pradesh Police Department (Recruitment of Constables) Rules,2024. Selection for these posts will be done on the basis of performance of candidates in PET/PST/Written exam and Medical exam.

HP Police Recruitment 2024 Recruitment Process
Under the selection process, candidates will have to undergo several round including Physical Test/Written Test/Document verification followed by Medical Examination.
| Physical Test | The first round is the Physical Test consisting of Physical Standard Test (PST) andPhysical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidaes shortlisted in this round will be able to appear in second round which is Written Test. |
| Written Test | Successful candidates of Physical Test will be provisionally admitted to offline multiple choice objective type written examination of Two hours duration consisting of 90 marks having negative marking, to be conducted by the Commission. |
