IBPS Common Written Examination for RRB Recruitment 2012

The Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of the officers and the staff in Regional Rural Banks is all set to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel selection (IBPS) for  the further recruitment of officers and office assistants in regional rural banks on 2 September 2012 and 9 September 2012. A total of 82 Regional Rural Bank (RRBs) will participate in the Recruitment Process.

Aspirants willing to take sit for the CWE, will first have to DOWNLOAD the call letters for the post of Officer Scale 1 and the post of Office Assistant.

What is the Pre Examination Training? Who all can take it?

The Pre-Examination Training will be made available to a limited number of students belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe/Minority Communities/ Ex-Service Men/Persons with Disabilities for the post of office assistants , and the same groups for the post of Officer Scale 1 at some centers who applied to avail the training while filling the online application.To know about the Pre Examination Training, CLICK HERE

Important documents to be taken for the IBPS CWE RRB and other information

•    Call letter for the written examination.
•    Photo identity proof (as specified ) in original
•    Photocopy of photo identity proof as mentioned
•    Candidates reporting late in the exam venue (time specified on the call letter) will not be allowed to take the examination.
•    The total time bracket for the examination is three hours for ( specialist cadre) and two hours and thirty minutes (for others).
•    Each correct question will give one mark and for each wrong answer the one fourth or 0.25 marks assigned to that question would be deducted.
•    Each candidate will have to secure the minimum marks that are set in order to qualify for the individual interview that would be held by the respective RRB’s.
