Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declared Common Written Examination (CWE) result for Recruitment of Clerks on 29 February 2012. The exam was held for the first time on 27 November 2011 for recruitment of bank personnel in 19 public sector banks.
IBPS has been authorised by Indian Banks' Association and has received mandates to conduct these exams for recruitment of bank personnels. Candidates successful in written test can use their score card to apply in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks on the basis of eligibility/ qualifying criteria etc as stipulated by the participating banks.
Participating Banks
The 19 public banks participating in IBPS recruitment includes Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, UCO Bank & Vijaya Bank.
IBPS Clerical Cadre Score Card
IBPS will issue Score Card to the candidates who have successfully passed the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Clerical Cadre. The score card is valid for a period of one year only and will be accepted by only 19 nationalized banks that gave authorization to IBPS to conduct exams. The marks mentioned on the Score Card will be derived from corrected score obtained by candidates that are further converted into standardized scores following Linear Conversion Method. Candidates can henceforth apply in the Nationalized banks as per their process.
