IBPS IT Officer Eligibilty Criterion

Q: I have completed DOEACC ‘A' level course and want to apply for the post of IT Officer (Scale I) in the IBPS Specialist Officer recruitment. Can I apply for this post?

A: Yes, you are eligible for the post. IBPS has notified a new notice with few changes in the eligibility criteria (educational qualification) for 3 posts of Specialist Officers. As per the new notice, candidates applying for IT Officer Scale I (Post Code 01) and IT Officer Scale II (Post Code 08) can include BSc degree or equivalent in the Degree column and DOEACC A level/ equivalent qualification in the text box in the others column.

The age limit required for this post is 20 years to 35 years for IT Officer Scale I and 21 years to 40 years for IT Officer Scale II as on 1 December 2011. Besides this, the rest of the educational qualification required for the post remains unchanged.

The last date to apply for Specialist Officer recruitment in 19 public sector banks is 21 January 2012.
