IBPS conducted the preliminary examination for RRB Assistant exam 2017 on 16th and 17th September successfully. The exam was conducted for 80 marks comprised of 80 questions with a time of 45 minutes.
Pattern of Examination: The examination has 2 sections – Reasoning and Quantitative aptitude. Candidates shall be required to qualify in each section as per cut-off marks determined on the basis of performance in each section and also on the total weighted score. Negative marking is applicable for the Objective Test. For every wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
