Eligibility Criteria for JRF and Young Professional Post
Educational Qualification:
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - Master’s degree in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Life Science/ Nematology with 4 or 5 years Bachelor’s degree with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average in Bachelors and Masters degrees. The candidates with 3 years bachelor’s Degree must have NET qualification or equivalent
- Junior Research Fellow (DBT-Indo Swiss Collaboration in Biotechnology Pigeon Pea Network) - M.Sc./M.Tech. / Post Graduation in Bioinformatics with 4 or 5 years Bachelor’s degree with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average in Bachelors and Masters degrees. The candidates with 3 years bachelor’s Degree must have NET qualification or equivalent
- Young Professional II - Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics or Botany
- Contractual - 12th Pass with a minimum 2 years of experience in field work of growing various crop and vegetables, plant and nematode associated work.
