ICF Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Notification: Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai is inviting applications for Apprentice Training in various trades. A total of 1010 Apprentices seats are available for imparting training under the Apprentices Act dated 06.10.2015 in the designated trades at Integral Coach Factory preference to candidates from Tamil Nadu.
The official website invites online applications from 22 May to 21 June. The vacancies are available for Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, MLT Radiology, MLT Pathology and PASAA. This notification is purely for giving Apprenticeship training and not for employment.

ICF Apprentice Educational Qualification 2024
Ex-ITI
- Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Should have passed Class 10th (with a minimum of 50%
marks) with Science & Maths under 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above. - Carpenter, Painter & Welder: Should have passed Class 10th (with a minimum of 50% marks) under 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
- Programming and System Admin. Asst.:Should have passed Class 10th (with a minimum of 50%
marks) and also possess National Trade certificate in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Asst. issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Freshers
- Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Should have passed Class 10th (with minimum 50% aggregate
marks) with Science & Math under 10+2 system or its equivalent. - Carpenter & Painter - Should have passed class 10th (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system or its equivalent. 2 years Welder Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system or its equivalent. 1 year 3 months.
- MLT (Radiology & Pathology) - Should have passed Std 10th examination under 10 + 2 system with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
ICF Apprentice Age Limit 2024
15 to 24 years.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)candidates.
ICF Apprentice Stipend
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 10th) Rs. 6000/- (per month)
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 12th) Rs. 7000/- (per month)
- Ex-ITI – National or State certificate holder Rs. 7000/- (per month)
How to Apply for ICF Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Candidates can apply online from 22 May to 21 June on ICF website https://pb.icf.gov.in. A processing fee of ₹100/- + service charges as applicable (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
