ICMR – NIRT Jobs Notification:

ICMR - NIRT, Chennai invited applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Scientist ‘B’ ‘C’ & ‘D’ in various discipline. The eligible candidates can apply to the posts through the prescribed format so as to reach on or before 03 April 2017 up to 05:00 PM.

Name of the Posts:

1. Scientist ‘B’ (Immunology) – 01 Post
2. Scientist ‘B’ (Statistics) – 01 Post
3. Scientist ‘C’ (Immunology) – 01 Post
4. Scientist ‘D’ (Programming) – 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria for ICMR – NIRT for Scientist ‘B’ ‘C’ & ‘D’ Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist ‘B’ (Immunology): Possess MBBS Degree or Master’s Degree in the appropriate discipline or M.Sc. with Ph.D. Degree in the concerned specialization.
2. Scientist ‘B’ (Statistics): Possess Master’s Degree in the appropriate discipline or M.Sc. with Ph.D. Degree in the concerned specialization.
3. Scientist ‘C’ (Immunology): Possess Post- Graduate Degree in respective discipline (MD/ DNB) or MBBS Degree or Master’s Degree in the appropriate discipline.
4. Scientist ‘D’ (Programming): Possess BE/ B. Tech. in respective discipline or Master’s Degree in the appropriate discipline with Ph.D. Degree in the concerned specialization.

Experience Required: Having 02 (two) years relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field for the respective posts.

1. Scientist ‘B’: 02 years.
2. Scientist ‘C’: 01 year (with PG Degree) & 04 years (with MBBS/ Master’s Degree).
3. Scientist ‘D’: 10 years (with BE/ B. Tech. Degree) & 04 years (with Ph.D./ Master’s Degree).

Age Limit 

1. Scientist ‘B’: Not exceeding 35 years
2. Scientist ‘C’: Not exceeding 40 years.
3. Scientist ‘D’: Not exceeding 45 years

Selection Procedure for ICMR – NIRT for Scientist ‘B’ ‘C’ & ‘D’ Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the academic qualification/ Experience and Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
