Under IGNOU Recruitment 2016 out of total 45 posts, 15 Posts are for Library Science Project Associate and 30 Posts are for Library Science Trainee for the National Virtual Library Project of the Ministry of Culture.
Eligibility for Library Science Project Associate: candidate should have Master’s In Library Science (MLIS) from a recognised University with 02 years experience in cataloguing and indexing. Preference will be given to those who have experience in Koha and DSpace.
Eligibility for Library Science Trainee: candidate should have Bachelor’s In Library Science (BLIS) from a recognised University. Candidate should have experience in cataloguing and indexing and working in Koha and DSpace.
Eligible candidates can walk in for the interview at ‘Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, on 08 July 2016 (10.30 AM).
