IIM Bangalore has tied up with Goldman Sachs in a strategic move to launch programme for women entrepreneurs. As per the sources, this initiative aims to promote a wave of women entrepreneurship and groom leaders who are interested in commencing their own start-ups. The initiative is known as ‘Women Startup Programme’
Through this programme both IIM Bangalore (IIM-B) and Goldman Sachs will provide training to those women who have no previous entrepreneurial background and are keen on setting up ventures of their own. The Programme will enthuse aspiring entrepreneurs in-the-making to systematically think through their venture idea. It is a 5-week online course followed by a 3-week interactive boot camp sessions wherein the top-50 online participants will be able to attend it. The final level of this programme is a one-on-one Demo Day from which top-12 business ideas will be selected.
The eye candy of this initiative is that there is no programme fee for enrolling and becoming an entrepreneur. The enrolment for the programme begins from 15 November, 2016 onwards. You can register yourself by visiting this PAGE.
