The Indian Institute Of Management-Shillong (abbreviated IIM-Shillong or IIM-S) is also known as The Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute Of Management-Shillong. It is an autonomous B-School located in Shillong, Meghalaya. It was established in 2008 by the Government of India as the seventh IIM to be established.
The Institute is currently functioning from a temporary campus in the Mayurbhanj Complex. The Campus includes a main building wherein the administrative office, faculty offices, classrooms, library and conference halls are housed.

Post-Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEx)
[Managing Business in India and China]
Eligibility: The minimum requirements for admission to the Programme are:
a) A three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university.
b) Throughout Academic performance- 65%.
c) A valid CAT/GMAT Score of 70+ Percentile.
d) At least five years of full-time experience in executive capacity in an organization of repute in the public, private or non-governmental sector. Self-employed persons with minimum 3 years of experience after obtaining qualifying degree can also be considered.
e) Maximum age of 35 years as on the date of joining the progrmme
f) Sponsorship or No Objection Certificate from the employer for pursuing the course.
Batch Capacity:
The batch capacity for PGPEx 2014-15 is 25 out of which 5 is reserved for Overseas Candidates.
Programme Fee :
The total programme fee will be Rs.13 lakhs for Indian Nationals, USD 24,000 for Chinese Nationals & USD 27,000 for Other Overseas candidates. Besides, Rs 2-5 lakhs i.e USD 4000 to USD 10,000 would be charged additional for Food, Visa, Airfare etc.
Fellow Programme in Management
Eligibilty :-
1) A Masters’ degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks OR
2) A Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average OR
3) Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks OR
4) In addition, all the candidates must have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process.
5) Age limit - Not more than 40 Years.
6) CAT/GATE/GRE/G-MAT/JRF Qualified.
Duration of the Programme:-
The Programme duration is maximum 4 years.However, under special circumstances extension of one more year may be granted only after permission from the concerned authorities.
