The admission process for PGP programmes 2013-15 has started in Indian Institute Management Shillong. The first phase would involve shortlisting of candidates to be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI). The second phase would involve the preparation of final merit list, based on which candidates will be offered admission to the said course. The process to be followed in each of these phases is as follows:
Phase 1: Short listing for GD/PI
The minimum requirements to be followed for the shortlisting of candidates in this phase are as follows:

Phase 2: Final Admission offer
A score (M) will be calculated for each candidate using the following formula, which will be used for preparing the merit list for the final selection.
M = p1m1+p2m2+p3m3
Where,
m1 – mark obtained in GD; p1 - weightage of GD marks (15 %)
m2– mark obtained in PI; p2- weightage of PI marks (40 %)
m3 – total CAT score; p3 – weightage of CAT absolute scores (45 %)
However, there will be a cutoff on the marks obtained in GD (m1) and in PI (m2)as follows:
