Eligibility Criteria for SRF & Other Posts Job

Educational Qualification:

• Research Associate: Ph.D in Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics.
• Junior Research Fellow: Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding/Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular biology OR Post Graduation in basic sciences (Biotechnology/ Plant Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Botany) with NET qualification.
• Technical Assistant: Graduate in life Science with experience in rice research.
• Research Associate: Ph.D Degree in Life Sciences/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Biotechnology OR Master’s Degree with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor degree having 1^st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least w two years of research experience with evidence.
• Senior Research Fellow: Masters Degree in Agriculture from a recognized and reputed university with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree OR PG in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s Degree having NET qualification. Specialization in Life Sciences/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Plant Physiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Entomology or related life sciences.
• Young Professional II: Post graduates in Agricultural Sciences or M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Genetics & Pl. Breeding.
• Technical Assistant: Any degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit

• For RAs: 40 years for men and 45 years for women.
• For JRF, SRF, Young Professionals & Tech. Asst: Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
