Indian Army invited applications from unmarried male candidates for grant of Permanent Commission under 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course 29 commencing from July 2013 for 85 various vacancies. Interested eligible candidates can apply online till 03 December 2012.

Name of the Post: 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course – 29
Total Number of Vacancies: 85
Age Limit (on the first day of the month in which the course is commencing):
Minimum: 16½ years
Maximum: 19½ years
(i.e. the candidate should not be born before 01 January 1994 and not after 01 January 1997, both days inclusive.)
Educational Qualification:
10+2 (PCM) or equivalent with minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board.
Type of Commission: On successful completion of 4 years of the course, cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the rank of Lt. They will be granted seniority on overall order of merit of the three technical institutes combined i.e. CME, MCTE, MCEME and in case the date of commissioning coincides with that of IMA, Dehradun, they will be placed en-block junior to IMA (NDA / ACC / DE Course) but above TGC / UES course.
Training: Training will be for a period of 5 years. On successful completion of the training, candidates will be awarded Engineering degree.
In case a candidate fails to qualify in the following year examination, the same will result in loss of seniority to him and he will forfiet seniority to the extent of delay in passing engineering degree examination. If a candidate fails to qualify even within three years of his commissioning, his commission will be terminated.
Training Cost: The entire cost of training including books and reading material is borne by the Army. Cadets are also provided with free accommodation and messing. In case the GC is withdrawn from training academy due to reasons other than Medical ground or the reasons not beyond his control, he will be liable to refund cost of training @ Rs. 7075/ -per week for the period of his stay at the Officer Training Academy, Gaya/Cadet Taining Wing.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Psychological Test, Group Test and Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview.
Short listed candidates will be called for 5 day Services Selection Board (SSB) interview to be held in Feb/Mar 2013 at Bhopal, Bangalore and Allahabad. During their stay at SSB, candidates will be put through psychological Test, Group test and Interviews. Each stage would be qualifying in nature, and only those candidates who qualify the stage will be allowed to move to the next subsequent stage.
Successful candidates at the SSB will be required to undergo medical test. Those declared medically fit will be appointed for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available.
Final merit list will be displayed at the notice board of Rtg Dte., (Offers Selection), ADG Rtg, West Block-III, R.K Puram, New Delhi PIN- 110066 as well as on the Indian Army, Recruiting Directorate website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in before induction for pre-commissioning training.
Finally selected candidates will have to execute all the Bonds/Certificates prescribed for the Cadets of NDA.
No compensation will be paid in respect of any injury sustained as a result of test conducted at SSB.
Travel Allowance: Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of commission shall be entitled for AC III tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper charges within the Indian limits.
Candidates applying again for the same type of commission will not be granted travelling allowance.
STIPEND/PAY AND CTC:
Selected candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.21000 p.m. (Rs.15600 as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400) till completion of 3 years of training. On completion of 4 Years of training, they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.

The CTC for a Lieutentant would be approximately Rs. 65000 per month including Basic Pay, DA, Grade Pay, Military Service Pay, Tech Pay, House Rent Allowance and Transport allowance.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates can apply online through the Indian Army website: http://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in on or before 03 December 2012. On successful submission of online application, an Acknowledgement Form containing the Roll Number would be generated by the system. Candidates are required to take its 2 print out and send one of the print out by post to ‘The Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TES Section, West Block-III, R.K.Puram, New Delhi – 110 066’ so as to reach the said office on or before 10 December 2012.
Candidates are required to paste their recent passport size photo on the print out of the System generated Acknowledgement Form and also attach attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents before sending it to the ADG. The envelope containing the application should be super scribed “Online Application 10+2 TES, Roll No. and PCM percentage”.
The second copy of the printout of application acknowledgement form along with the Roll No and all certificates in original are to be carried to the Selection Centre by the candidate for the SSB interview. Candidature of a candidate would be cancelled if he does not present these documents before the SSB interview panel.
Candidates must submit only one application. Receipt of multiple applications from a candidate will result in cancellation of his candidature.
Candidates withdrawn from NDA, OTA, IMA, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply.

Note: Candidates must undertake not to marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful, will not be selected for training. A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the government.
