Indian Bank has announced recruitment of 452 General Banking Officers in Scale-I. The recruitment process of the bank will start from 17 February 2012 and will end on 3 March 2012

Indian Bank has announced recruitment of 452 General Banking Officers in Scale-I (Probationary Officers). The recruitment process of the bank will start from 17 February 2012 and will end on 3 March 2012.

Candidates who have completed their graduation with minimum 55% marks and possess a valid IBPS Score can apply for the post. The Total Weighted Score (TWS) required from General Category candidates is 141 and score for Reserved Category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) candidates is 116.

Indian Bank was established on 15 August 1907 as part of the Swadeshi movement and is headquartered in Chennai. The bank has 1932 CBS branches along with 240 Overseas Correspondent banks in 70 countries.
