The Indian Navy invited applications for recruitment to the post of Sailors under Sports Quota Entry. Eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed format on or before 19 July 2017.

  • For candidates of North East, J&K, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep & Minicoy Islands – 26 July 17

Eligibility Criteria for Sailors Posts against Sports Quota

Educational Qualification

  • Direct Entry Petty Officer - 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination
  • Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR) - 10+2 qualified in any stream or equivalent examination.
  • Matric Recruits (MR)- 10th /equivalent qualified.

Age Limit

  • Direct Entry Petty Officer - 17 to 22 years
  • Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR) - 17 to 21 years
  • Matric Recruits (MR) - 17 to 21 years

How to Apply for Indian Army, Sailors Posts against Sports Quota

Interested candidates can submit applications on A4 Size paper as per the given format. Only one application form is to be forwarded. Candidates who send more than one application for the same entry will be disqualified. The application should reach at THE SECRETARY, INDIAN NAVY SPORTS CONTROL BOARD, 7th Floor, Chankya Bhavan, INTEGRATED HEADQUARTERS, MoD (NAVY), NEW DELHI 110 021 on or before 19 July 2017.
