Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Boiler Operations Officers: 4 year BE/ BTech/ BSc Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering (Regular Engineering course from recognized Indian University/ Institute). The candidate must possess Boiler Engineer's Certificate (Ist Class Proficiency) issued by the State Boiler Authorities.
- Quality Control Officers: Ph.D in Chemistry from a recognized Indian University/ Institute with at least 60% marks in Graduation and Post-Graduation level (Pass Class for SC/ ST)

Age Limit (as on 30 September 2011)
- Maximum 30 years for Boiler Operations Engineers and Quality Control Officers
- Maximum 32 years for Medical Officers
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates will have to pay application fee in the form of a crossed DD of Rs 300 drawn on State Bank of India, Service Branch (Code No. 7687) in favour of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Refineries Division) payable at New Delhi. Candidates from Delhi may submit Pay Order/ Banker's Cheque instead of Demand Draft.
No fee will be charged from SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates.
Pay Scale: Selected Candidates will get a monthly remuneration of Rs 36655 per month (Basic Pay Rs 24900- plus DA Rs 11755 on IDA pattern) in the scale of pay of Rs 24900-50,500. The Cost-to-Company will be around Rs 8.1 lakhs per annum.
Selection Procedure
The selection process for the post of Quality Control Officer will comprise of Written Test (objective type consisting of two parts - General Aptitude and Discipline Knowledge) and Personal Interview.
The Selection process for the posts of Boiler Operations Officers & Medical Officers will comprise of Personal Interviews only.

- Upon completion of such registration process, you are required to take a printout of the Application, affix your recent passport size photograph, put your signature at the space provided, attach the Original Demand Draft, attested copies of certificates in support of qualification, experience, age, caste, disability etc.
- Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer should also attach copies of Internship completion certificate and registration certificate from State Medical Council.
