Good news seems to be ringing for all those Indian students staying in Malaysia who wish to pursue or are pursuing tertiary education in universities. Malaysian Indians pursuing education in universities, colleges and polytechnics can now apply for financial assistance from the Indian Scholarship and Trust Fund (ISTF) managed by the Indian High Commission.
The application form for the same can be downloaded online, or obtained from the High Commission office (Education section), Level 28, Menara 1 Mon't Kiara, 1, Jalan Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur or by calling 03-6205 2350 ext 203. The last date for submission of the forms is 3 September 2012.
This is to note that, shortlisted first-time applicants called for the interview will be eligible to receive the financial assistance. The previous recipients of ISTF, who are still pursuing their courses, could re-apply for the financial help by submitting the form together with their latest mark sheets and proof of study.
