Jamia Millia Islamia University Invited Applications for MA Visual Effects and Animation

AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia University launched a full time master’s course in ‘visual graphics’ and animation. It must be noted there is only hand full institutes offering full time degree courses in graphics and animation and the number only decreases as the level of education goes up.

The diploma course which was introduced back in the year, 2007 has now been upgraded into a two year full time Master’s course.

The course which is spread across four semesters (two years), introduces the basic concepts of visual communication , animation as well as film making in the very first semester.

The course alongside also offers electives such as gaming, life drawing etc. The course has a strong research edge where students would be further trained in research methodologies, which will help students write research papers.

This course is open to graduates from all disciplines and there are twenty seats and the modus operandi to get in, is to crack it via an entrance test and interview.

The last date of submission of forms is 8 May 2013, while the date of the entrance examination is 26 May 2013.
