    The Central Board of Secondary Education has scheduled JEE Main on April 8 in offline mode while JEE Main online exam will be held on April 15 and 16. Students who are going to appear for JEE Main exam have only few days left.

    Students have already covered most of the syllabus of JEE Main 2018. Students should focus only on the revision of the topics which they have already studied instead of starting any topics. Students should focus on accuracy and try to avoid blind guessing in the exam.

    Physics:

    There were 30 questions in this subject. Mostly questions were straight forward and based on concepts given in CBSE Class 12 Physics NCERT textbook. Few sample questions from the Physics Question Paper are given below:

    A man grows into a giant such that his linear dimensions increase by a factor of 9. Assuming that his density remains same, the stress in the leg will change by a factor of

    (1) 9

    Question:

    A time dependent force F = 6t acts on particle of mass 1 kg. If the particle starts from rest, the work done by the force during the first 1 sec. will be

    (1) 4.5 J

    (2) 22 J

    Chemistry:

    This subject also consists of 30 questions. A maximum of 120 marks will be awarded for this subject. Few sample questions from the Chemistry Question Paper are given below:

    Mathematics:

    There were 30 questions in this subject. Mostly questions were quite lengthy and calculative. Some of students struggled even to solve 15 questions out of 30 questions. Few sample questions from the Mathematics Question Paper are given below:

    Question:

    A man X has 7 friends, 4 of them are ladies and 3 are men. His wife Y also has 7 friends, 3 of them are ladies and 4 are men. Assume X and Y have no common friends. Then the total number of ways in which X and Y together can throw a party inviting 3 ladies and 3 men, so that 3 friends of each of X and Y are in this party, is:

    (1) 468

    (2) 469

    (3) 484

    (4) 485

    Question:

    If S is the set of distinct values of ‘b’ for which the following system of linear equations

    x + y + z =1

    x + ay + z = 1

    ax + b + z = 0

    has no solution, then S is:

    (1) An infinite set

    (2) A finite set containing two or more elements

    (3) A singleton

    (4) An empty set
