JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer Key 2024: JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 has officially begun from today, April 4, 2024. As per the exam schedule released by the NTA, the exam will be conducted in two shifts, Shift 1 and 2 wherein the first shift will start at 6:00 AM and end at 9:00 PM whereas the second shift will start at 3:00 PM and end at 6:00 PM. Today, on April 4, the exam is being conducted for Paper 1 applicants which means the exam is for B.E/B.Tech students. Post the completion of exams, students are quite excited as well as nervous to know how they have actually performed in the exam. According to the press release by NTA, 12.57 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exams. The NTA had decided to give an opportunity to students to improve their score in the second chance so that they could save one year and get admission into the colleges of their choice. JEE Mains 2024 Marking Scheme

Each question that has been correctly answered by students holds +4 marks.

Each question that has been incorrectly answered by students holds a -1 mark

Each question that has not been answered or marked for review holds 0 marks.

If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.

If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then full marks will be awarded to all candidates who have appeared irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Result Date

According to the information provided by NTA on the official website JEE Main 2024, the results for session 2 will be released on April 25, 2024, for all the papers, including Paper 1, Paper 2A, and Paper 2B. The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exams will be over on April 15, post which students will have to wait for some time to check their results online on April 25, 2024. However, there is yet no information about the release date of the answer key and opening of the answer key challenge window on the online portal. The same is expected to be announced soon.
