Jharkhand Govt gives 2 percent Reservation to Sportspersons in Govt Jobs

Jharkhand government has taken a leap forward for the betterment of sports persons in the State. 2 per cent reservation in govt jobs would be given to sports persons. The State will also take care of their dietary intake and provide nutritious food to them.

Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das has announced of various provisions for the upliftment of sports persons. In addition to a proper diet, the CM has also assured of setting up women football teams. Kamal Clubs have been set up in the State for the promotion of football and govt will provide kits to player. For boosting the competitive level of the sports persons, competition will be held at block, district and State levels.

Apart from sports, the CM also focused on the skill training of youth and the implementation of the skills for getting through employment.

Encouraging hockey also formed one of the major part of the speech given by the CM on the occasion of laying foundation stone for a high school stadium at Ormanjhi. The occasion was also graced by rural development minister and others.
