Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor, and Other Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Professor : M.D./M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned with 9 years teaching experience in the specialty concerned After postgraduate degree out of which at least four years should be as Associate Professor/equivalent post in the specialty concerned.
Associate Professor : M.D./M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned with 5 years teaching experience in the specialty concerned After postgraduate degree out of which at least four years should be as Assistant Professor/equivalent post in the specialty concerned.
Assistant Professor: M.D./M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned. Three years teaching experience in the specialty concerned in a recognized medical college as resident / registrar / demonstrator/ Tutor out of which one years should be after post–graduate Qualification.
Senior Residents/Demonstrator: MBBS from any Institution / university recognized by MCI. With M.D./M.S. or equivalent Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the subject concerned for senior resident post.
