KVS PGT, TGT and PRT 2018-19 Exam Results are out now. KVS has announced the names of shortlisted candidates for the interview round of PGT, TGT and PRT 2018-19 Exam for total 1079 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Vacancies, 3908 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Vacancies and 3000Primary Teacher (PRT) Vacancies. So the shortlisted candidates must start preparing for the Interview Round now. Interview round will be of 60 Marks. The final merit list will be based on the performance of the candidates in Written Test and Interview. The weightage of Written Test and Interview will be 85:15. Dos for KVS 2018-19 Interview
Shortlisted candidates must follow the below points while preparing for the KVS PGT/TGT/PRT 2018-19 Interview Process:
1. Practice for the Interview
Practice for the Interview Round. For practice purpose, stand in front of a mirror and look at your expressions and rectify any negative points or errors.
2. Work on your GK and Current Affairs
Be acquainted with current news as to what is happening nationally and internationally. You should be able to answer all the current affairs related questions. Candidates should read magazines and newspapers and watch current affairs-based television programmes.
3. Be Calm on the Day of Interview
Try to be calm on the Interview Day. A good sleep before the day of interview is very necessary as it will help you to remain stress free, cheerful and relaxed.
4. Dress Formally
Make sure you are not shabbily dressed. For female candidates, they can wear a sari or a suit for interview. For male candidates, they can wear a formal Shirt and trouser. Remember you should look professional.
5. Be Organised
Keep a file/folder to keep your certificates and documents in an organized manner. Keep both the original documents and photocopies of the original documents on the day of Interview with you. They are verified before you enter the interview room.

6. Be yourself during Interview
Try to be yourself during Interview. Do not frame answers which may seem to be correct or courteous. Interviewers can easily detect when you are lying and that can make a negative impression of yours during interview.
7. Be Polite while answering interview questions
Try to be polite while answering the questions during interview. Rude and arrogant attitude will make a negative impression.
8. Make Eye Contact
Make Eye Contact while answering the questions during interview. Eye contact is the most vital thing while you answer. Do not look down while answering the questions as it indicates low self-confidence.
9. Be Confident and Enthusiastic
Try to be enthusiastic and show your dedication towards the job. Be enthusiastic and energetic while answering the questions during interview. The job of a teacher is to not only educate but help the students in every possible way.
10. Elaborate your answers with Examples
For making your point clear on any subject matter, try to justify your answers by giving examples. Take the help of statistical data and present it whenever you feel it necessary.
Don’ts - KVS 2018-19 Interview
Shortlisted candidates must avoid the below points while preparing for the KVS PGT/TGT/PRT 2018-19 Interview Process:
1. Don’t be ill Prepared
There’s simply no excuse for poor preparation of an interview. It’s important to do a bit of research about KVS and its history. Also, read about the education industry, GK and current Affairs before going to the interview round.
2. Don’t be late
Never reach late at the Interview Venue. In fact, plan to be early for any scheduled interview. If you are late or arrive just in the nick of time, it will make a negative impression of yours on the interviewers.
3. Don’t sit down until you are asked
Take the seat only when you are asked to do so. The interviewer won’t make you stand-but if you move quickly to your chair and sit down, that might show disrespect to the interview panel.
4. Don’t be Nervous
Don’t show your nervousness by drumming your fingers, swing your leg, or cracking your knuckles. Don’t keep adjusting your clothes or fiddle with your hair.
5. Don’t Chew or Munch during Interview
Avoid chewing gums and other munching items as it gives an impression that you are careless and not serious about the event.
6. Don’t give one or two word answers
Try to give clear cut answers. Don't answer questions with a simple "yes" or "no". Make sure that you explain your reasoning fully. The interviewer is trying to assess your answers. Too short answers may lead to low score during interview round.
7. Don’t be impatient
Take your time to answer the questions properly. The Interviewers might try to pressurize you. Don't panic as they are testing your patience. They will try to assess that how will you respond to situations when they are not according to your wish. Also, don't interrupt the interviewer before they have finished asking you a question and never finish their sentences for them.
8. Do Not Lie
Do not fabricate your answers with lie. Also do not misrepresent any information by telling a lie. Lies will create a web for you during interview from which you won’t be able to get out, if the interviewer catches your lie.
9. Don’t Argue
Avoid any arguments during interview. Express your viewpoints but don’t let the discussion turn into an argument form as it will make a negative impression of yours on the interviewer.
10. Don’t be negative and don’t criticize
Don’t criticize too much about any issue like current government educational policies, political parties, current education system, etc. Try to present a positive outlook of yours on the issues which demand a reform.
