For 01-08, 20-23: 40 years
For 09-19, 24: 36 years
Qualifications
For 01-05, 20-22: BE/ B.Tech. & ME/ M.Tech. degree in relevant branch;
For 06-08, 23: M.Sc. in relevant subject + qualified NET;
For 09: Graduation and computer awareness;
For 10: Graduation or SSLC & Typewriting English (Higher) + Certificate in Computer Packages for Office Automation, Data Entry Operation
For 11: Degree + Typewriting – English (Higher) + Shorthand English (Lower) + Certificate in computer packages for Office Automation.
For 12-15 & 24: Pass class 7 + JTSLC/ ITI/ KGTE/ KGCE/ City Guild exam in concerned Trade.
For 16: Pass class 7 + possess valid Motor Driving License + Proficiency in driving Passenger/ Medium/ Heavy Duty motor vehicles + clear Medical fitness test;
For 17: Pass class 8 + know Cycling.
For 18: ability to read/write Malayalam/ Tamil/ Kannada
For 19: Pass class 8
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done as per the rank lists prepared for the posts on the basis of candidate’s performance in objective type tests/ interview/ proficiency tests.
Application fee: Non-refundable application fee is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology’ payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Fees to be:
For 01- 08, 20-23: Rs.750 (general candidates)/ Rs.375 (SC/ ST candidates)
For 09-19, 24: Rs.500 for (general candidates)/ Rs.250 (SC/ ST candidates)
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through LBS CST website www.lbscentre.org / www.lbskerala.com till 2 July 2014.
On submitting the online applications, a Registration ID would be generated by the system.
Candidates should submit a printout of the submitted application with Registration ID mentioned on it and send it along with fee DD in original and attested copies of required certificates/ documents to ‘The Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram- 695033’ on or before 2 July 2014.
On the envelope carrying the application, candidates should super-scribe 'APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _ _ _ _ _ _ _.’
