LIC AAO Mains 2019 Exam Analysis

LIC AAO Mains examination consisted of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks. Both the objective and descriptive tests will be online. The objective test had separate timing for every section. Candidates needed to answer descriptive test by typing on the computer. Descriptive test was administered immediately after the completion of the objective test.

Letter Writing (150 words)

1. Write a letter to your younger friend who recently got a job telling him the importance of retirement pension.

2. Write a letter to a insurance firm requesting them to change residential address.

3. Write a letter to your boss describing about the value of group insurance.

Essay Writing  (200 words)

1. Benefits of Travel Insurance.

2. What is Financial Security? Explain the elements of financial security.

3. Insurance or Mutual Fund! Which one do you prefer for investment.

Highlights of LIC AAO 2019 Mains Exam:

  • The paper was conducted in Online Mode across different cities.
  • It is compulsory to carry Admit Card with affixed Photograph on it and Original ID proof alongwith its photocopy as well. Candidates are required to bring one ball point pen also.
  • There was NO NEGATIVE MARKING for wrong answers
  • Candidate MUST obtain minimum qualifying marks in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview round.
  • The questions were in bilingual except English Language.

Important Points to Remember after LIC AAO Mains 2019 Exam

  • Phase-III: Interview

Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in Main Examination + marks obtained in Interview will be considered for final merit listing of candidates.

  • Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination/ Final Selection: Shortlisted candidates in final merit list will have to undergo Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered appointment.
