LIC Housing Finance Ltd. is one of the largest Housing Finance company in India. It was incorporated on 19 June 1989 under the Companies Act, 1956, and was promoted by LIC of India and went public in the year 1994. It invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Assistant.

Assistant: 127 vacancies in the following regions

• Central Region: 13 vacancies
• Eastern Region: 12 vacancies
• Northern Region: 20 vacancies
• South Central Region: 14 vacancies
• South Eastern Region: 15 vacancies
• Southern Region: 30 vacancies
• Western Region: 28 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Candidates should have knowledge of Computer Operations  

Age Limit (as on 1 December 2011): Between 21 years and 35 years

Pay Scale: Rs 7400- 455- 7855- 495(2) - 8845- 560 (5) -11645- 650 (2) - 12945- 790 (3)-15315- 825(2) -16965 and gross salary will be approximately Rs 12,000 per month inclusive of all allowances. Benefits like PF, Gratuity, Group Mediclaim, Medical Benefit, LTC, etc. and other fringe benefits like Sodexho coupons will be payable asper rules of the Company.

Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs 350 through payment challan which can be deposited in any of the branches of Axis Bank. The applicant will be given unique transaction ID number by the Bank which will be required to gain access for submitting online application.

Selection Procedure: Selection procedure will comprise of Competititve written exam which will be held at 28 centres in India. The written test will be of Objective type comprising of a) Reasoning ability b) Numerical Ability c) General Knowledge & Current affairs d) English Language with special emphasis on grammar & vocabulary. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the interview.
