Admissions to Management Programmes at Lucknow University (LU) will require more than the scores obtained in Common Admission Test (CAT) or LU Management Aptitude Test (LU-MAT). From this year onwards, the academic index, i.e. performances in class X, XII and graduation, along with the sections of group discussion, and personal interview will also be considered to allow entry to MBA courses at LU, as said by the university officials.
LU’s MBA admission in-charge, Prof Arvind Mohan said that CAT or LU-MAT score will secure only 70% weightage, and the rest of that will constitute 10% for group discussion, 12% for interview, and 5% for the marks obtained in class X, XII and graduation. The remaining 3% weightage will be subjected to candidates having work experience.

The application process for the test has already been started from 20 March 2014, and the closing date is 20 April 2014.
