Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. invited application for recruitment to the post of General Manager, Manager, Dy Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer. Eligible candidates can apply through online till 25 July 2013. MRPL is an oil refinery at Mangalore and is a subsidiary of ONGC, set up in 1993. The refinery is located at Katipalla, north from centre of Mangalore city. The refinery was established after displacing five villages of Bala, Kalavar, Kuthetoor, Katipalla, and Adyapadi.

Age limit:

• Maximum age limit for General Manager is 49 years as on 31 July 2013.
• Maximum age limit for Mangers is 38 years as on 31 July 2013.
• Maximum age limit for Dy Manager is 35 years as on 31 July 2013.
• Maximum age limit for Senior Mechanical Engineer is 32 years as on 31 July 2013.
• Relaxation is applicable as per Govt directives.

Educational Qualifications:

1. General Manager (Internal Audit/Finance): CA/ICWA/MBA with specialization in Finance with minimum 21 years of experience in a reputed Public Limited Company, presently working in the position of at least Dy General Manager/Chief Manager. Work experience in a Refinery/Fertilizer/Petrochemical plant will be of added advantage. In case of Finance, experience in Corporate Accounts Finalization, Treasury Management and indirect Taxation will be preferred. In case of Internal Audit, experience in Risk Management Techniques, Corporate & Enterprise Risk etc will be preferred.
2. 2.      Manager (Operations): Engineering Graduates with at least 10 years post qualification in Refinery/Petrochemical operations, with minimum 5 years of operational experience in any one of the following units.

FCC/PFCC: Petrochemical Fluidized Catalytic cracking unit

DCU: Delayed Coker Unit

PPU: Polypropylene unit

Pre-commissioning and Commissioning experience of these units and ability to train personnel will be an added advantage.

1. 3.      Dy Manager (Operations): Engineering Graduates with at least 7 years post qualification in Refinery/Petrochemical operations, with minimum 3 years of operational experience in any one of the following units.

FCC/PFCC: Petrochemical Fluidized Catalytic cracking unit

DCU: Delayed Coker Unit

PPU: Polypropylene unit

Pre-commissioning and Commissioning experience of these units and ability to train personnel will be an added advantage.

1. 4.      Senior Mechanical Engineer: First class degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. The candidate should have minimum 4 years of post qualification experience in a Engineering consultancy firm handling projects for refineries/petrochemicals/fertilizer/power or experience in design and Engineering in refinery/petrochemicals /fertilizer companies.

Selection Process:
