Meghalaya Police invited applications for recruitment to the posts of UB-Sub Inspector, AB-Sub Inspector, Unarmed Branch Constables, Fireman, Driver Fireman, MPRO Operator Constables, WPC, Armed Branch Constables, State Battalion Constables & IRBN Constables, Handyman Constables, Rider Constables, MPRO (General Duty Constables), Mechanics, Driver Constables, Buglers and Armourers.
The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 31 July 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya Police 1705 Constables & Other Posts:
Educational Qualification:
- Unarmed Branch Constable/ Fireman/ Driver FM/ MPRO Operator/ IRBN Signal Operators/ Mechanics- 10+2 Passed.
- Armed Branch Constable/ Driver Constables/ Handymen, Battalion Constables including IRBN Constables- Class IX (passed).
- Followers of DEF/ State Battalions including IRBN- Class V Passed.
Age Limit:
- Unarmed Branch Constable/ Fireman/ Driver FM/ MPRO Operator/ IRBN Signal Operators/ Mechanics- 18-21 years.
- Armed Branch Constable/ Driver Constables/ Handymen, Battalion Constables including IRBN Constables- 18-21 years.
- Followers of DEF/ State Battalions including IRBN- 18-27 years.
Selection Procedure for Meghalaya Police 1705 Constables & Other Posts:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/written exam/PMT conducted by the organization.
