Ministry of Road Transport & Highways notified recruitment of 936 various posts 2013

Border Roads Development Board is an apex under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways invited application for the recruitment of 936 various posts 2013. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 21 July 2013. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, a branch of the Government of India, for formulation and administration of the rules, regulations and laws relating to road transport, national highways and transport research, in order to increase the mobility and efficiency of the road transport system in India.

Age Limit
• Candidate’s age must be 18 –27 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
• Age Relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualifications
1. Supervisor Store: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent and Possessing certificate in Material Management or inventory control.
2. Laboratory Assistant: 12th pass and Laboratory Assistant Certificate issued by Industrial Training Institute or a recognized Institute.
3. Hindi Typist: 12th pass and Typing speed of 30 word per minute in Hindi on Computer
4. Vehicle Mechanic: Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Possessing certificate of Mechanic in Motor
5. Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade): Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving license
6. Operator Excavating Machinery (Ordinary Grade):
7. Driver Road Roller (Ordinary Grade): Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving license & six months experience in Road Roller Driving

Application Fees
• General, OBC & Ex-servicemen candidates need to pay Rs.50 in the form of Demand draft drawn in favour of Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune-411015, payable at State Bank of India, Khadki Branch, Pune Code No.01629.
• No fee for ST/SC candidates.

Selection Process
