Department of Sciences & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology invited applications for the posts of Scientist ‘C’ and Scientist ‘D’ under Ministry of Science & Technology. The eligible candidates can apply to the posts through the prescribed format so as to reach within 45 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News (i.e. 27 June 2016).

Eligibility for Scientist:  Candidates must possess Master Degree in the respective discipline of Physics or Chemistry or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology.

Eligible candidates can apply to the post through the complete bio- data in the prescribed format and send the application along with other necessary documents so as to reach to the office of the Under Secretary (Rectt.), Department of Science and Technology, Technology Bhavan, New Mehrauli Road, New Delhi – 110 016 within 45 days (60 days for the candidates of remote area) from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News (i.e. 27 June 2016) up to 05:30 PM.

• Last Date for Submission of Application for the candidates of Remote Area: Within 60 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News (i.e. 12 July 2016) up to 05:30 PM.

Experience Required to apply for Department of Sciences & Technology, New Delhi Vacancy: having a relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field for the respective posts.

Scientist ‘C’ – 04 years.

Scientist ‘D’ – 08 years.

Age Limit 

Gen: as on last date of receipt of application.

Scientist ‘C’ – 35 years.

Scientist ‘D’ – 40 years.
