Eligibility Criteria for MMMUT, Gorakhpur Teaching & Non-Teaching Posts
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Assistant Professor - B.E./B. Tech and M.E./M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech.
Associate Professor - Qualification as above that is for the post of Assistant Professor, as applicable and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in AICTE Regulations.
Professor - Qualification as above that is for the post of Associate Professor, applicable Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable. For Professor Training and Placement the candidates from all Engineering disciplines offered in the University are only eligible. Experience - Minimum of 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. OR Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and / or Research and / or Industry. In case of research experience, good academic record and books / research paper publications / IPR / patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Screening/Selection committee.
For the experience in industry to be considered, the same shall be at senior managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/ research paper publications / IPR / patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Screening / Selection committee.

Workshop Superintendent - First class Master’s Degree in Mechanical/ Production / Industrial Engineering with 5 years experience in reputed workshop or industry. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial or Production Engineering with 7 years experience in any reputed Industry or Workshop as Assistant Engineer or equivalent.
Physical Training Instructor - A Master’s degree level in physical education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. Record of having represented the University / college at the interUniversity / inter-collegiate competitions or the state and /or national championships.
Medical Officer - Degree from a recognized Institute / University. Candidates having Master’s degree will be preferred and special preference will be given to the candidates having Master’s degree in Medicine / Surgery / Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Programmer - B.E. / B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering OR M.C.A. / M.Sc. in Computer Science with 1 year experience OR Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science with 7 years experience in operating computer systems & writing computer programmes.
