Eligibility Criteria for Project Scientist Post
Educational Qualification and Experience:
• Project Scientist C (R&D in Earth System Sciences Program of Ministry of Earth Sciences, New Delhi) – Master’s degree in Hydrology/Water Resources Engineering/Geology/Geophysics or Glaciology/Mathematics with 60% from a recognized University or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent with first class (60%). Three years of experience in teaching (at graduate/post graduate level) or research and development in Hydrology or Glaciology or relevant field supported by scientific publications. Good experience of working on MS Office tools, Internet tools etc.
• Project Scientist C (SAGE Program of Ministry of Earth Sciences) – Master’s degree in Geology/Geophysics/Seismology with 60% from a recognized University or equivalent. Three years of experience in teaching or research and development in Geology/Geophysics/Seismology/Earthquake related studies supported by scientific publications.
• Project Scientist B (SAGE Program of Ministry of Earth Sciences) – Master’s degree in Geology/Geophysics/Seismology with first class (60%) from a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limit:
• Project Scientist C – 40 Years
• Project Scientist B – 35 Years
