MP Scholarship 2024-25: The Madhya Pradesh (MP) Scholarship scheme is run by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to provide financial assistance to the students studying in the state at different levels. There are currently two schemes run by the MP Government and the names of the schemes are Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojna (MMVY) or Chief Minister's Meritorious Students Scheme and Mukhyamantri Jankalyan (Shiksha Protsahan) Yojna (MMJKY). Students can apply for the schemes at the official online portal scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in. or medhavikalyan.mp.gov.in.

Medhavi Scholarship 2024-25: Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarti Yojana (MMVY)

Under this scheme, students who have secured 70% or more marks in the 12th grade examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education or have secured 85% or more marks in the 12th class examination conducted by CBSE/ICSE and are residents of Madhya Pradesh, as well as whose father or guardian's annual income is less than Rs 6 lakh, get admitted in the below-listed graduate-level education courses, and then their tuition fees will be borne by the state government under the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana. Under the scheme, the payment will be made only for the admission fee and tuition fee (except mess fee and caution money), which have been determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee, the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission or the Government of India/State Government.

मेधावी स्कॉलरशिप क्या है? 

(इस योजना के अंतर्गत जिन विद्यार्थियों ने माध्यमिक शिक्षा मण्डल द्वारा आयोजित 12वीं की परीक्षा में 70 प्रतिशत या उससे अधिक अंक प्राप्त किये हो अथवा सीबीएसइ /आईसीएसई द्वारा आयोजित 12वीं की बोर्ड परिक्षा में 85 प्रतिशत या उससे अधिक अंक प्राप्त किये हों एवं मध्यप्रदेश के निवासी होने के साथ-साथ उनके पिता/पालक की वार्षिक आय रूपयें 6 लाख से कम हो, ऐसे विद्यार्थियों को निम्नांकित स्नातक स्तर की शिक्षा के पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रवेश प्राप्त करने पर मुख्यमंत्री मेधावी विद्यार्थी योजना के अंतर्गत शिक्षण शुल्क राज्य शासन द्वारा वहन किया जायेगा। योजना के अंतर्गत स्नातक स्तर हेतु व्यय शुल्क के रूप में, प्रवेश शुल्क एवं वह वास्तविक शुल्क (मेस शुल्क एवं कोशन मनी को छोड़‌कर) जो शुल्क विनियामक समिति अथवा म०प्र० निजी विश्वविद्यालय विनियामक आयोग अथवा भारत सरकार/राज्य शासन द्वारा निर्धारित किया गया है, का ही भुगतान किया जायेगा।)

For engineering studies, the rank in the JEE Main examination should be below 1,50,000 (one lakh fifty thousand), then the full fees and amount for taking admission in a government engineering college and Rs 1.50 lakh or the tuition fees for taking admission in a non-government engineering college will be given whichever is less. (इंजीनियरिंग हेतु जेईई मेन्स (JEE MAIN) परीक्षा में रैंक 1,50,000 (एक लाख पचास हजार) के अंतर्गत होने की स्थिति में शासकीय इंजीनियरिंग महाविद्यालय में प्रवेश लेने पर पूरी फीस एवं अनुदान प्राप्त/अशासकीय इंजीनियरिंग महाविद्यालय में प्रवेश लेने पर 1.50 लाख अथवा वास्तवित शिक्षण शुल्क जो भी कम हो। )

For medical studies, one must have got admission in MBBS/BDS course of Central or State Government Medical/Dental College or MBBS course of private medical college located in Madhya Pradesh through NEET entrance examination. Candidates from Government of India institutions which provide admission to MBBS course on the basis of examination conducted by themselves will also be eligible. (मेडिकल की पढ़ाई हेतु नीट (NEET) प्रवेश परीक्षा के माध्यम से केन्द्र या राज्य शासन के मेडिकल/डेंटल महाविद्यालय के एमबीबीएस / बीडीएस पाठ्यक्रम अयवा मध्यप्रदेश में स्थित प्राईवेट मेडिकल के एमबीबीएस पाठ्यक्रम में प्रवेश प्राप्त किया हो। भारत सरकार के संस्थानों जिनमें स्वयं के द्वारा आयोजित परीक्षा के आधार पर एमबीबीएस पाठ्यक्रम में प्रवेश प्राप्त होता है, के अभ्यर्थियों को भी पात्रता होगी।)

For law studies, candidates must have obtained admission in National Law Universities and Delhi University for studying law through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or through self-conducted examination. (विधि की पढ़ाई हेतु कॉमन लॉ एडमिशन टेस्ट (CLAT) अथवा स्वयं के द्वारा आयोजित परीक्षा के माध्यम से राष्ट्रीय विधि विश्वविद्यालयों एवं दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय में प्रवेश प्राप्त किया हो।)

On getting admission in the courses of graduation program and integrated post graduation program and dual degree course (which includes master degree as well as bachelor degree) conducted in all the universities/institutions of the Government of India. (भारत सरकार के समस्त विश्वविद्यालयों/संस्थानों में संचालित ग्रेजुएशन प्रोग्राम एवं इंट्रीग्रेटेड पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन प्रोग्राम एवं ड्यूल डिग्री कोर्स (जिसमें मास्टर डिग्री के साथ बैचलर डिग्री भी सम्मिलित हैं) के पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रवेश प्राप्त करने पर।)

On getting admission in all the courses run in all the government and aided colleges/universities of the state government and diploma courses of polytechnic colleges (in which admission is done on the basis of 12th examination. MP Scholarship: Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarti Yojana (MMVY) Eligibility Criteria

The candidate who is going to apply for the MMVY scholarship should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh. Check the list of eligibility below.

• Must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh
• The annual income of the parents/guardian of the candidate should not be more that Rs 6 lakh.

The candidates need to upload all the relevant documents on the portal. Candidates are also requested to cross-verify all the information provided before submitting the application. As after the submission candidates will not be able to edit the information, and any wrong will lead to the cancellation of the application. 

After submitting the final application, candidates need to submit the hard copy to their institution, which is further forwarded by the institution to the respective department of government.

MP Scholarship: Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarti Yojana Important Dates

As per the latest notification on the website, in the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana, the last date for making new applications for session 2023-24 and renewal applications for session 2023-24 and earlier sessions on the portal has been extended to August 31, 2024.

The fresh applications for the session 2024-25 have been started from July 20, 2024 and the last date is December 31, 2024. Check the table for important dates.

Before clicking on the final submit button and submitting the hard copy in the institution, candidates are requested to go through the application and make the changes where ever required, as after the final submission candidates will not be allowed to make any changes in their application and any wrong information will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
