The National Brain Research Centre was established in 1997 and is a neuroscience research group, situated in Manesar, Gurgaon district, Haryana, India. It invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to the course mentioned below

• Application Form Available Online: 19 March 2012 to 9 April 2012
• Last Date of receipt of the Application Forms: 13 April 2012 (Friday)
• Availability of Admit Card on NBRC website: After 23 April 2012 (2 pm)
• Written Entrance Examination for Integrated PhD (NEUROSCIENCE): 13 May 2012 (Sunday) (10 am to 12 noon)
• Written Entrance Examination for PhD (NEUROSCIENCE): 13 May 2012 (Sunday) (2 pm to 4 pm)

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in NBRC

Educational Qualification

• For PhD (Neuroscience): Master's degree or equivalent in any branch of Science such as Life Science/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer application/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Science/ Psychology OR A minimum of four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine
• For Integrated PhD (Neuroscience): Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any branch of Science such as Life Science/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer applications/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Science/ Psychology/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine

Selection Procedure for Admission in NBRC

Candidates will have to go through the Written Examination. Shortlisted candidates after the written test will be called for a two-tier interview at NBRC. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview

How to Apply for Admission in NBRC

Candidates can apply oniline through NBRC's website http://specialtest.in/nbrc2012 and should send the application forms to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Nainwal Mode, NH-8, Manesar - 122 050, Gurgaon (Haryana) along with relevant documents.

Application Fee: Rs 700 (Rs 350 for Reserved categories) in the form of Demand Draft issued by a nationalised bank in favour of Director, NBRC.
