National Insurance Academy Invites Application for Post Graduate Diploma in Management 2014-16

National Insurance Academy (NIA), Pune invites applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course for session 2014-2016.

Association of Indian Universities (AIU) grants PGDM of NIA to be equivalent to MBA. PGDM is also approved by AICTE.

NIA is an institution for learning and research in Insurance, Pension and allied areas, situated in Pune. The institute is famous for imparting insurance academics.

Through the PGDM programme offered by NIA, the students get dual expertise in both Insurance as well as Management.

Last date for the submission of application form: 31st March 2014.

Course Structure: PGDM is divided into six trimesters of 3 months and is designed to train and groom the future managers.

The course main electives are: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, and Information Technology.

Eligibility: Applicants must hold graduation degree or equivalent from any recognized Indian/foreign university with a minimum of 50% obtained at graduation level.

Students appearing for final year can also apply, subject to completion of their examination requirements by 30th June 2014.

Fee Structure: Rs.9,68,000/- for the entire programme of 2 years duration.

Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on CAT/XAT/CMAT Score followed by-

• Relevant work experience
• Past academic record
• Personal Interview
