Eligibility Criteria for Young Professional-II and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- Young Professional-II: Master degree in Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) in Aquaculture Master degree in Zoology with specialization of Fisheries or equivalent. At least 02 years working experience for the candidate holding master degree in Zoology with fisheries specialization in the field of aquaculture in a government or private institution/farm. Age Limit: 21 years to 45 years as per rules.
- Young Professional-II: Post-graduate degree in any branch of biological sciences with PG diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Age Limit: 21 years to 45 years as per rules.
- Young Professional-II: Professional Master degree in fisheries/animal science with Biotechnology/Genetics/Biochemistry disciplines. Age Limit: 21 years to 45 years as per rules.
- Senior Research Fellow: M.F.Sc. with fisheries Resource Management/Aquatic Environment Management disciplines OR Master degree in above disciplines with two years exp. or NET qualified. Age Limit: 35 (thirty five) years for Male and 40 years for female.
- Senior Research Fellow: Master degree in relevant subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree (OM No. Agri. Edn 6/27/2014-HRD dated 30 July, 2019 *[Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 02 years Master's degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research exp. as mentioned in OM No. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD daed 13 July, 2015, OM No. Agri Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dated 9th December, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January, 2019] Essential Subjects in Master's: Fish Genetics & Breeding/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology in Fisheries/Animal Science discipline Age Limit: 35 (thirty five) years for Male and 40 years for female.
- Young Professional-II: 1. Post-graduate degree from a recognized university, in any discipline and 2. Age Limit: 21 years to 45 years as per rules.
