NBRC Notified Recruitment for 03 Posts of Technical Assistant & Technical Associate 2014

National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar, Gurgaon invited applications from eligible candidates who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following Posts. The post is purely contract basis in nature, co- terminus with the project. The post is initially for the period of 01 year and likely to extended on the basis of performance.  The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 27 June 2014.

Technical Assistant (Library): 02 (Two)
Technical Associate (Computer/ IT): 01 (One).

Educational Qualification/ Experience  :

• For Post 1  :

(i) Graduation in Library Science or Library & Information Science or Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree from a recognized university and 01 year relevant experience of Library management.
(ii) Experience in Library Automation Software i.e. LIBSYS, SOUL, KOHA etc. / Online Resources i.e. e-Journals, eBooks etc.
(iii) Knowledge of management of library, Library Rules, Procurement Rules etc.

• For Post 2  :

(i) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT from a recognized University along with 01 year relevant experience.
(ii) Experience in development of website, forum and its administration. Handling and maintaining database is additional work experience.

(iii) Programming Knowledge of applications utilities like PHP, Linux, SQL, ASP .NET, Java, DBMS, MS-Access, C++, Apache, Visual Basic, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver and other Web based Application etc.

Age Limit &Relaxation: Maximum 30 years as on last date of receipt of application and Age Relaxation for category as per rules.

Pay Scale: Rs. 18,000/- Per Month (for post 1) and Rs. 22,000/- plus HRA Per Month 9for post 2).

Selection Procedure :

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical Test/ Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.
