New Voices Fellowship is an initiative of the Asia Society India Centre and will support six independent screenwriters who will be provided guidance from eminent screenwriters and filmmakers in the development of their scripts. The fellowship will be for one year and the selected screenwriters will get to attend two five-day workshops as also the opportunity to work with eminent screenwriters. A stipend of Rs 1 lakh will be provided to each fellow.
Sriram Raghavan, Vinay Shukla, Dev Benegal, Anjum Rajabali and some other screenwriters are associated with this fellowship.
