Eligibility Criteria for Medical Consultant Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Senior Consultant (Maternal Health) : Medical Graduate (MBBS)/BDS +MD/MPH/Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management/MBA in Health Management and 5 + years of experience in Public health.

Senior Consultant (Legal): Graduate degree in Law from a reputed University with minimum 5 years of experience in legal matters out of which 3 years with the government at National or State level and is a must, familiarity with the public health system, and relevant government policies/ strategies, particularly National Health Mission. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in NHM / RCH at National or State level.

Senior Consultant (Family Planning):  candidate should have completed MBBS and minimum of 5 years of work experience in the fields of public health and development with an emphasis on RCH/NHM.

Lead Consultant (Child Health): Medical graduate (MBBS) with Post-graduate degree in public Health/Pediatrics/Health management from a reputed and recognised institution7 + years of work experience in Public Health Sector. Prior experience in Project Management is an asset. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in NHM / RCH at National or State level.

Lead Consultant (RCH-Donor Coordination): Post-graduate degree in Social Work/ Health Management/ MBA from a reputed and recognized institution and minimum 7 years of experience out of which 3-4 years in RCH programmes with the government at national or state level.

Consultant (Adolescent Health): Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Health Management, Social Sciences/ MBA in Health Management from reputed University and minimum 2 + years of post-qualification work experience.

Consultant (Adolescent Health) (Training): Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Health Management, Social Sciences/MBA in Health Management from reputed University with 2 + years of work experience.

Consultant (Adolescent Health) (Data Analysis and Monitoring) : Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Health Management, Social Sciences/ MBA in Health Management from reputed University with 2 + years of work experience.
