Eligibility Criteria for Faculty Post

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Faculty of Spl Edn (Grad II): MA/MSc with B.Ed Spl Ed- (VI/HI)/D.Ed Spl Ed- (Db) and special training in teaching Deaf blind and Multi-sensory Impaired children with three years experience Or MA/MSc with B.Ed Spl Ed (Locomotor and Neurological Disorder)/D.Ed Spl Ed (CP) with 3/5 years experience.
• Faculty of Spl Edn (Grad I): MA/MSc with M.Ed (Special education – VI, HI), D.Ed (Db) and special training in teaching Deaf blind and Multi-sensory Impaired children Or Post Graduate degree (MA/MSc), M.Ed (Special Education) with either a dissertation in the field of MD or B.Ed (Special Education, Locomotor and Neurological Disorder)/P.G. Diploma in Special Education (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro.)/P.G. Dipl. in Developmental Therapy (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro).
• Assistant Professor: MA/MSc, M.Ed (Special Education) with either a dissertation in the field of MD or B.Ed.(Special Education) MD/B.Ed. Special Education (Locomotor and Neurological Disorder)/P.G. Diploma in Special Education (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro)/P.G. Dipl. in Developmental Therapy (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro) or a D.Ed. Spl Ed in ASD with Two years experience of teaching in special schools for children with ASD.
• Associate Professor: MA/MSc, M.Ed (Special Education) with either a dissertation in the field of MD or B.Ed.(Special Education) MD/B.Ed. Special Education (Locomotor and Neurological Disorder)/P.G. Diploma in Special Education (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro.)/P.G. Dipl. in Developmental Therapy (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro) or a D.Ed. Spl Ed in ASD.
• Professor: MA/MSc, M.Ed (Special Education) with either a dissertation in the field of MD or B.Ed.(Special Education) MD/B.Ed. Special Education (Locomotor and Neurological Disorder)/P.G. Diploma in Special Education (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro.)/P.G. Dipl. in Developmental Therapy (Mult. Dis.: Physical and Neuro) or a D.Ed. Spl Ed in ASD.
