National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore invites applications from eligible candidates, who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned posts. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 20 November 2014.

2. Veterinarian: 01 (One)
3.  Junior Scientific Officer(Radiation Safety): 01 (One)
4. Senior Scientific Assistant (Neuropathology):  01 (One).                                                                    
5. Research Assistant: 01 (One)

Educational Qualification/ Experience 

Qualification must be from recognized University or Institution with relevant experience in the concerned field.

• For Post 1  :

Possess Ph.D in the relevant field.

• For Post 2 to 5  :

Possess Post- Graduate Degree in the concerned field or equivalent

Age Limit &Relaxation

Age Limit for the candidate should be as on last date of receipt of application and Age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules.

• For Post 1: 40 years.
• For Post 2&5: 30 years.
• For Post 3 &4: 35 years.

Pay Scale/ Salary 

• For Post 1  :

Pay Band (PB – 3) and Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/- Per Month.

• For Post 2  :

Pay Band (PB – 3) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- Per Month.

• For Post 3  :

Pay Band (PB – 2) and Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- Per Month.

• For Post 4 & 5  :

Pay Band (PB – 2) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- Per Month.

Application Fee

Application Fee (Non- refundable) is of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 500/- for the SC/ ST candidates) shall be sent to any National Bank to State Bank of Mysore, NIMHANS Branch, Bengaluru.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical Test/ Skill Test/ Personal Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.
