NIOT Recruitment 2024: National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India has invited online applications for various posts in Employment News February (10-16) 2024. Under the recruitment drive, NIOT is set to recruit for posts including Technician , Scientific Assistant-Gr.B, Technical Officer and others on direct recruitment basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before March 11, 2024.
Selection for these posts will be done through trade / written test and skill test, in accordance with the posts as mentioned in the notification.

What is the NIOT Notification Eligibility ?
The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.
Educational Qualification:
Technician Grade - A (Electronics / Instrumentation): Candidates should have 10th Class Pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognised board and ITI course in electronics / instrumentation approved by National Council for Vocational Training or equivalent from recognised Institutions.
Basic knowledge of computer
You are advised to check the notification link for details of the educational qualification of the posts.
NIOT Selection Procedure
The candidate will be selected solely on the basis of their performance in a written/skill/trade test according to posts as mentioned in the notification. Candidates will be shortlisted roughly in the ratio of 1:50, subject to availability of sufficient number of eligible candidates. The number of candidates shortlisted may be slightly more or less.
NIOT Salary
The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Pay Level in the Pay Matrix (as per
VII CPC) at the basic pay. You can check the details of Pay level given below.
