NMAT examination will be conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) this year. It has been renamed as NMAT by GMAC. It is being said that there won`t be changes in the exmination pattern and content per se.
NMAT 2015 by GMAC is going to have the longest test window amongst the MBA Entrance Exams conducted in India. NMAT 2015 by GMAC will have 75 days test window. NMAT 2015 by GMAC will be conducted from 6th October to 19th December 2015. NMAT Exam was acquired by GMAC in March 2015.
Vikram Shah Associate Director, Market Development –South Asia GMAC said “There will be no change in the content of the NMAT by GMAC™ exam in the 2015 cycle and the format of the exam will remain same; it be a multiple-choice question paper that includes Quantitative Ability, Language Skills and Logical Reasoning”.
Aim of GMAC behind this step is to make use of NMAT Examination for admission to Business schools other than Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Till now NMAT SCore was used by only nMIMS and its allied colleges.
The online registration for NMAT 2015 by GMAC has already been opened. It started on 2nd July 2015 and will end on 5th October 2015.
GMAC is the owner of GMAT exam which is given by aspirants to explore admission opportunity in 6000+ MBA programmes across the world in top B schools. With GMAC taking over NMAT, it will bring in a lot of expertise.
