Office of the District Magistrate, Howrah Notified Recruitment for 9 Supervisor – SHG &SE Posts 2014

District Self Help Group and Self Employment Section, Office of the District Magistrate, Howrah under Government of West Bengal issued notificaiton inviting applications from residents of the Howrah district only for the recruitment to 9 posts of Supervisor, Self Help Group and Self Employment in the Blocks, Municipalities and Municipal Corporations, Howrah on contractual basis for a period of 6 months, extendable on the basis of performance.

Interested residents of the Howrah district should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with attested copies of required certificates by post to the office of the District Magistrate, Howrah or put it in the drop box kept in the office of the District SHG & SE Department, Howrah so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 2 December 2014.

Vacancy Details

1. Supervisor – Self-help group and self employment (SHG, SE): 9 posts

Remuneration:                 selected candidates will get a consolidated pay of Rs.12000 per month plus Rs.1000 as fixed T.A.

Type of recruitment: on contractual basis

Period of recruitment: 6 months, renewable depending on the candidate’s performance;

Upper Age limit: Candidate applying should be maximum 37 years of age. [upper age limit is relax-able up to 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates]

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with Honours in any disciple; Knowledge of Computer in MS-W ord, Excel Power Point, Accounting package and reasonable typing speed;

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the viva-voce.

Only shortlisted candidates – on the basis of the marks obtained by them in Higher Secondary and Bachelor Degree (Hons.) exams and proficiency in computer applications – will be called for the selection process.
