OPSC OCS Exam Pattern 2025: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) selection procedure for Odisha Civil Services consists of prelims, mains and an interview. The OPSC OCS exam is responsible for recruiting eligible candidates for the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) and other Group A and Group B services in Odisha Government.

OPSC OAS Exam Pattern 2025
The OPSC OAS exam pattern consists of three stages such as prelims, mains and interview. The candidates who will clear the prelims examination will be called for the mains exam which is further followed by an interview. The OPSC OCS prelims exam will be conducted for all candidates who successfully fill out the online application form. The candidates who will be called for the mains will be approximately 12 times the number of vacancies. The total marks for the OPSC prelims exam will be 400.

OPSC OCS Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The prelims examination for OPSC OAS will be conducted for two papers such as General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II and each paper will be conducted for a maximum of 200 marks.
Each paper in the prelims examination will have negative marking and one-third of the marks will be deducted for marking the wrong answer. If the candidate gives more than one answer then it will be treated as a wrong answer, and marks will be deducted accordingly. OPSC OCS Mains Exam Pattern 2025
The candidates who successfully clear the cutoff marks as decided by the recruitment body will be called for the mains examination. The OPSC OAS mains examination will be subjective type and the candidates have to write a detailed answer. The OPSC OAS mains exam will be conducted over multiple days.
The OPSC Mains Examination will consist of 9 papers, in which two papers will be qualifying in nature and the remaining 7 papers will be used to prepare the merit of candidates. OPSC OCS Interview 2025
The candidates who will clear the mains exam will be called for the interview. The interview will be conducted for a maximum of 250 marks. These marks will be counted while preparing the final merit list. There is no specific syllabus discussed by the commission for the personal interview round/personality test.
