Eligibility Criteria for Horticulture Ext. Worker and Village Agri. Worker Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Horticulture Extension Worker: candidate should have passed 10+2 Science or Vocational course in Agriculture related subjects only such as Crop Production (CP)/Horticulture (Hort.)/Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM) from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute.
Village Agricultural Worker: candidate should have passed 10+2 Science or Vocational course in Agriculture related subject in Crop Production/Horticulture/ Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven farm Machinery from any Recognized Board/Council/Institution. Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic under Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology shall be desirable and 05% of the marks secured in the Written Examination of the post shall be awarded extra for such qualification.
Age Limit: candidate should not be more than 21 to 32 Years of age.
Selection Process for Horticulture Ext. Worker and Village Agri. Worker Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the Common written examination.
The written examination will consist of 02 papers, Paper I, II of total 220 Marks , Paper I is divided into two parts, part one will test the Mathematical knowledge of candidates and Part II will consist of questions from General Science including Crop production/Agriculture etc.
Paper II will consist of questions from General Studies, English language and Odia Language.

Eligible candidates are required to register at the official website of commission (osssc.gov.in) on or before 31 December 2016 to be able to apply for any post of OSSSC, registered candidates can apply for the posts in the prescribed format. The last date of application is 07 January 2017.
