Educational Qualification:

Music and Dance Discipline/ Drama Discipline/Visual (Fine) Arts Discipline

• Assistant Professor-Good academic record with 55% marks at the Master’s degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualification candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test for lectures conducted by the UGC. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master’s Programme in disciplines for which NET/SLET /SET is not conducted. OR A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned subject, who should have: studied under noted/reputed traditional masters and has thorough knowledge to explain the subject. B high grade artist of AIR/TV and ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline
• Associate Professor- Good academic record with doctoral degree with performing ability of high professional standard. Eight year of experience of teaching at the University, College level and/ or research in University/ national level institutions excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degree. Has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the subject concerned as evidenced by quality of publications. Contribution to educational innovation such as designing of new courses curricula and/ or outstanding performing in the field of specialization OR A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned subject, who should be or have- ‘A’ grade artist of AIR/TV. Eight years of outstanding performing achievement in the field of specialization. Experience in designing of new courses and or curricula. Participation in Seminars/Conferences in reputed institution and ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory will illustration in that discipline
• Professor- An eminent scholar with a doctoral degree actively and engaged in research with ten years of experience in teaching in University/College and or research at the University/National level institution including experience of guiding research at doctoral level with outstanding performing achievements in the field of specialization or A traditional and a professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned subject who should be or have – ‘A’ grade artist of AIR/TV. Twelve years of outstanding performing achievement in the field of specialization. Significant contribution in the field of specialization and ability to guide research. Participation in National/ International Seminars/ Conference / Workshops and or receipt of National /International Awards/Fellowships and Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline
