Mark sheets have been released for RBI Grade ‘B’ Officer exam for DSIM and DEPR. Candidates who had appeared for the examination can check their mark sheet at the official portal of RBI at rbi.org.in.
Reserve Bank of India has announced the result for the post of Officer in Grade ‘B’ for Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM) - BY-2016 and Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR). The examination was held on 27 & 28 August 2016.
RBI Grade ‘B’ Officer result has been declared for five zones namely Bangalore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and New Delhi. While one candidate has been selected in each of the above mentioned zones, 02 candidates have been selected in Kolkata zone for DSIM. Similarly for DEPR one candidate each has been selected for Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Mumbai zones and 08 candidates from New Delhi zone.
About RBI Grade ‘B’ Officer Recruitment Exam: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had invited applications for the recruitment of candidates against various vacancies for Officers Grade ‘B’ in Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM) and Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR).
As per the Bank norms, appointed candidate will be required to undertake collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of data from various sources, undertake statistical analysis involving modern statistical/econometric models, empirical testing of data etc., to undertake conceptual and methodological studies on various types of statistics relating to money and banking, prices, saving and investment, national accounts, index numbers, etc., designing and organizing of large scale sample surveys and to undertake systems analysis and computer programme development and processing on the Bank's Computer Systems.
